Thrifty Thursday Won SDC 2022

KSS Thrifty Thursday won 1,000$ in the 2022 Sustainable Development Challenge, the prize pot was 8,000$ but there was a mutual decision to divide it among all the teams based on their expressed budgets, a first in the Sustainable Development Challenge. Thrifty Thursday had the advantage of already being in operation before the live pitch event. Our operational costs is essentially zero and even now Thrifty Thursday has retained most of the 1,000$. The next year hold promise as our team prepares to push the project even further this coming school year with plans already under development. It is clear that this is only the beginning.
